A deep dive into the construction of a custom 4,500 sq.ft nature-integrated residence in Thrissur, Kerala.

The Challenge

The client wanted a traditional Kerala Tharavadu layout but required contemporary air filtration, structural insulation, and smart home tracking systems, all under a fixed contract budget.

Our Approach

  1. Design: Drafted an open-air center courtyard utilizing vertical glass louvers to deflect driving monsoon rains while maintaining airflow.
  2. Construction: Used M25 grade concrete and reinforced lateral foundations. Quality audits were performed by the Nexston Corporations Pvt Ltd technical board.
  3. Restoration Components: Sourced teak logs locally, hand-carved by heritage craftsmen, and installed an eco-roof utilizing clay roofing tiles layered over leak-proof concrete.

The Result

  • Cooler Indoor Temperatures: Passive airflow reduced AC cooling costs by 28%.
  • Delivered on Schedule: The project was completed in 11 months with zero budget creep.
  • Warranty protection: Issued a 10-year structural warranty certified by Nexston.
